Is boudoir right for me?
Boudoir is for anyone and everyone that want’s to add a little spice to their life. Gender, age, body type, etc, are irreverent. If boudoir is drawing you in, your body might be telling you to invest in yourself.
What is a boudoir shoot with you like?
Boudoir is something you need to ease into so I like to let it roll at its natural pace. By design there’s lots of room for joking around and sharing ideas. A big part of the sessions success is actually the consultation. That’s where we break the ice so the session just feels like hanging out with a friend.
Do you offer payment plans?
A retainer fee is due at the time of booking but beyond that, custom installment plans can be scheduled for both the session and products.
Where do boudoir photo shoots take place?
Normally they would take place in the Glow studio but do to the pandemic, sessions will be in private outdoor locations. Consultations are also being done over video chat for the moment.
Will I be naked?
Most clients choose to wear lingerie but nudity is appropriate too. I recommend making a choice based off your comfort level first, then making aesthetic choices that fit within those boundaries.
Do you photo shop my images?
Photos are edited but you’re not. A lot of little things go into Glows unique look, but none of that involves altering your body. Stretchmarks, extra chub and permanent blemishes stay where they are.
Will my photos be posted online?
That’s up to you. Some clients prefer to keep some or all of the photos private. Others want them to be seen. It’s really a personal decision.
What type of products do you offer?
Wall art and luxury flushmount albums. If you’re looking for a gift or want to keep your photos private, an album is the perfect choice. If you want to go big, transform your bedroom wall with large prints.
Is it normal to be nervous?
Definitely normal, it’s a big step in a new direction. That said, I think the experience is equally important to the photos themselves so Glow sessions are relaxed and welcoming by design. Making sure it’s comfortable and fun from start to finish is key to my style.
